Bali Life

Hi guys

Sorry for the long absence. A few of you guys contacted me to know what was going on in my life. So here are my latest updates. If you follow me on Instagram you might have realized that I am still in Bali. Turns out I kind of like Bali 😉 That’s why I decided to stay here. I am mean for good. Who would have thought I end up here?

What made me stay is the most asked question. Well, everything. You know I love the sun, the beach and island life in general. But I also finally found a place where I can work how I always wanted to. I found a great job as a Social Media Director for a media agency based in Bali. Yes, you should like us on Facebook: Swell media agency. 🙂 The guys I am working for are very professional but so cool and chill at the same time. I can realize all my ideas and I can work when I am most efficient.

So yes, I do work, but I can still do yoga, go to the beach and enjoy life. I have more time for myself then I ever had in Switzerland. And the most important thing: I am happy. Ah and the answer to the second most asked question: No, I am not here for a guy.

From now on this blog will be about my life in Bali. I hope you keep following me. Oh my gosh there already so many stories to tell. Don’t get me wrong I love Bali but there are also some difficulties. For example: Where is my passport right now? I am actually not sure. I keep you in the loop and will tell you the whole story soon.

Where do I live? You know I love the gypsy life and the change of places. But after travelling for five month I felt like I needed something to settle. I needed a place with a kitchen and living room. I don’t want to live all by myself but then again I don’t want to live in a shared villa where everyone is partying all the time. So I was more than just happy when I saw a Facebook-Post from a sweet family. They were looking for a pet sitter for two weeks (truly my thing) and I asked if I might even be able to stay longer. I am only one month in the villa but already Rowe and Audrey became my family. They are both so sweet and involved me in their family life – just what I needed. And living with pets around me makes it even better. Even though that means that I had to hunt a frog, run away from a rat (the cat brought it in – thanks pixie) and fight against a spider. Oh no wait that wasn’t me. The biggest spider on earth – I swear – was in my bedroom. It was already midnight and I had to wake up Rowe (who is also afraid of spiders) to get it out of my room. I couldn’t even help. I was just standing outside my room crying like a baby and making the dog nervous. Thank you Rowe for being my hero!

Uff there are so many more stories to tell. So I will start with my Bali stories soon and I will be back in Switzerland for a short visit in July for my Birthday. And of course this I need to say as well: I miss you guys!!

Xoxo Nadine

That’s honestly so cool that you moved abroad. I can’t wait to see some more of the things you do.

That’s funny! I was following you for a while on IG and now I discover that you work with a guy I met in Canggu: Assil. Small world hah? I started a blog as well and I am pursuing a nomadic life. Wish me luck and say Hi to Assil <3
